Emily Rodriguez started in education as a middle school teacher in Queens, NY in 2001 as a NYC Teaching Fellow. She has spent the last 19 years teaching and leading in elementary and middle schools and central offices in New York City, Philadelphia, and the greater Boston area. Before she became the founding principal of Success Academy Harlem 3, she was a Dean of Students and Middle School Academic Director at a charter school in Brooklyn, NY.
Currently, she is the Managing Director of Elementary Academics for KIPP Massachusetts, where she has worked since 2012. Emily has 3 elementary school aged children. She is obsessed with making learning engaging, relevant, and meaningful.
