

Lynn, MA- December 3, 2020 – Harry Nahatis, Vice President & General Manager of Turboshaft Engine Programs at GE, was recently honored with a leadership achievement award at GE Aviation’s Annual Leadership Meeting. He received this award in recognition of his leadership at GE Aviation for the last thirty years while he was on various assignments in Engineering, Business Planning & Market Development, Marketing & Sales, and Project Management.
The award comes with a $5,000 donation to the non-profit of the winner’s choice, and Harry has generously decided to choose KIPP Massachusetts as the recipient. Harry decided to donate his award to KIPP in honor of the longstanding partnership between GE and KIPP. Over the last 10 years Harry has frequently volunteered with KIPP, including the annual field trip to the jet engine plant. The award will support STEM work K-12 at KIPP.
