KIPP Receives $5,000 award from Ron Hutter of GE

Lynn, MA- December 17, 2019- Ron Hutter, Vice President- Turboshaft Engine Sales at GE Aviation, and KIPP Massachusetts Fund Board President, was honored with a career achievement award at GE Aviation’s Annual Leadership Meeting. He received the Military Systems Operation Customer Advocacy Award in recognition of his career achievements in building strong customer relationships, advocating for customers and finding solutions that have both satisfied their needs and delivered significant sales growth for GE Aviation. Ron is the Sales Executive leading Military Engine and Services Sales for GE. He has worked at GE for 34 years and at Lynn’s GE location for 12 years.

The award comes with a $5,000 donation to the non-profit of the winner’s choice, and Ron has generously decided to choose KIPP Massachusetts as the recipient. Ron has been involved with KIPP Massachusetts for the past twelve years. He has coordinated volunteer events based on STEM education and participated in STEM events at KIPP and in Lynn. He has also served as the KIPP Massachusetts Fund Board President for the past two years. On December 17th, Ron presented the award to KIPP MA students.
