Computer Science Education Week is an annual call to action for K-12 students to celebrate computer sciences, advocate for equitable access to technology, and to highlight the work that Computer Science educators are doing every day in their classrooms.
This year, Computer Science Education Week ran from December 6th to December 12th. What better way to celebrate Computer Science than to join Mr. Pericles’ AP Computer Science Principles Class?
The students of AP Computer Science Principles are currently in the final stage of coding their own apps. In class, the students were swapping apps and collaborating with team mates to provide feedback on what was working and what still needed to be tweaked.
The AP Computer Science Principles class is a new class this year at KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate and promotes technology, creativity, and, you guessed it…computer science.
