We’re thrilled to share that on August 23, 2025, Klinic Kids visited KIPP Academy Boston to host an exciting Basketball & Wellness Clinic for students in grades 3–8. Klinic Kids, a nonprofit organization, hosted a one‑day clinic that brought together professional basketball coaches and trainers, experienced educators, and licensed mental health clinicians to give our young athletes an unforgettable experience. This partnership reflects our commitment to whole-child development —bringing together athletic skill-building and social-emotional wellness in one joyful, enriching experience!
A Unique Blend: Skill Meets Mindfulness
The day was filled with active drills and teamwork exercises, led by Klinic Kids’ engaging pro trainers who taught core basketball fundamentals like ball-handling, coordination, and teamwork. What made the clinic especially memorable were the Wellness Timeout sessions which included guided breathing exercises, mindfulness practices, and positive affirmations woven into the athletic routines, empowering students to center themselves physically and emotionally.
Active Participation
An enthusiastic group of 26 KIPP Academy Boston students participated, showing up with curiosity, energy, and eagerness to learn not just about sports, but also about how to stay grounded under pressure, support one another, and cultivate inner calm.
