KIPP Massachusetts Names New Chief of Staff

(January 2024) KIPP Massachusetts is proud to announce Jesse Fetbroth as the new Chief of Staff!

Jesse has been with KIPP Massachusetts since joining in 2014 as a founding Kindergarten Teaching Fellow at KIPP Academy Boston Elementary School. In her eight years at KIPP Academy Boston, Jesse taught kindergarten and first grade. Jesse also taught fourth grade, and in 2019 led her class to the third highest achievement on Math MCAS in the city of Boston. She also served as the Grade Level Chair for first and fourth grade and Assistant Principal for third and fourth grade.

Jesse transitioned to KIPP’s Regional Office in 2022 as the Senior Executive Advisor, where she worked closely with the Executive Leadership Team in executing vision and priorities for KIPP Massachusetts by leveraging her instructional expertise and her knowledge of the KIPP community. 

Of her new position, Jesse says: “I am so honored to have this opportunity and could not be more excited to continue to support KIPP Massachusetts’ students, families, staff and community members in this new role.”

KIPP Massachusetts Executive Director, Nikk Barnes, says: “Jesse Fetbroth has the heart of a teacher and can see the big picture of the organization all at once. In the role of Chief of Staff, she will work by my side to connect all the dots of this complex work to ensure we are being true to our mission.”

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Jesse now lives in Jamaica Plain with her husband, Zach, daughter, Dylan, and dog, Riggins.
